MICROSOFT TEAMS AS A PHONE SYSTEM

There are four components of IGNITE:

• Quorum Network Services - Saves money and PSTN connectivity

• Session Border Controller / Gateway - Security, connectivity and local control / DR*

• Microsoft Office 365 - Full MS Office and licensing for TEAMS

• Poly, Jabra, Logitech & Yealink Endpoints - phones, conference phones, video conferencing (all MS TEAMS certified)

There are two key versions of IGNITE - On premise and Cloud. Both options are powered by Ribbon (previously SONUS) and are of high quality, flexible, resilient (with several DR options, easy to install and manage, and, incredibly affordable.

QUORUM NETWORK SERVICES

In its most basic configuration, Microsoft TEAMS only allows communication with other users of TEAMS. In order for TEAMS to fulfill the function of a traditional phone system, it must have connectivity to the public telephone networks (PSTN). This can be in the form of SIP, ISDN or analogue trunks. Our Quorum Network Services Team provides this connectivity. Quorum Network Services also provides massive cost savings, typically providing 40-80% savings on international call spend. The networks we recommend are of the highest quality, are very easy to connect and there's no change to user behaviour; no annoying codes that rarely get used.

Microsoft TEAMS is the engine and brains of our collaboration solution. Using Office 365, we do away with the need for big, old, power hungry servers in the office. Security, resilience, future proof and amazing capability.

Don’t compromise on the End-Point be it a desk phone, a headset, a conference phone or a full video conference solution. They must, must be MS TEAMS certified and the two, leading providers of MS TEAMS certified end-points are Poly (previously Polycom and Plantronics) and Yealink.
